The Global Family Home of Mahabodhi International Meditation Centre (MIMC) Leh is a peaceful retreat for travelers in clean comfortable accomodation and green gardens amongst the Himalayas. World Kidney Day was celebrated at MayoHospital, Sector 69, Mohali (near Chandigarh) on 9th March, 2017. The theme of the programme was obesity. More than 100 kidney patients, kidney donors, their family members and doctors participated in the event. It was emphasized by the speakers that control on weight, high blood pressure and diabetes was necessary to avoid the kidney related diseases. Another problem in curing the kidney patients was shortage of kidney donors in India.
